Under this long-term service agreement with UNICEF, i-APS provides extensive Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) services of UNICEF funded activities in Yemen.
i-APS leverages its Yemeni-native staff/personnel and is supported by international subject matter experts.
To date, UNICEF has issued 13 task orders to i-APS. The task orders focus on education, WASH, and health, lasting anywhere from 3 months to over a year.
TPM activities include: detailed desk research, development of tools and inception reports, organization of all UNICEF data, field and remote data collection across all 22 Yemen Governorates, data analysis, and reporting, including monthly, quarterly and final reports on monitoring activities.
Data collection includes Key Informants Interviews (KIIs), surveys, Focus Group Discussion (FGDs), and field observations.
Under the LTA/IDIQ, i-APS has conducted independent monitoring and verification of 2184 out of 14,563 schools across 22 Yemen governorates and surveyed 20,024 trainees, trainers, supervisors’ workers, MoE staff across 14 governorates.
